Who has them? I have an Eclipse DVD Navi and want to add a camera. I have been parking further and further forward when I back into a parking spot lately. I have seen some on fleabay that mount on the license plate for around $40-50 or so. Any suggestions?

I had one of those cameras, don't waste your money, because they are wireless there is all kinds of interference. Picture breaking up, I also was able to pick up security cameras at walmart, and other stores. When I upgraded my stereo I went with pioner NC1 system, and added the the back camera. It works great, especialy on the 7 inch screen it is a flip up, NAV and DVD. It comes on as soon as you go into reverse, I also have the option where I can turn it on any time even while driving, That is a weird feeling, watching wear you have been or cars coming up on you. Buy the way, your picture on the wireless is only about 3 inches.

That's what I meant. I have an Eclipse DVD Navi, and want to "hardwire" a camera to it so it comes on when I reverse. I guess the question is, are the generic cameras ok, or is there a certain brand I should look for.

I think the one that comes in the Jeep GC is a plug and play that will work. Not cheap but it is supposed to be compatible. Check with Art at Henson. He "should" know.

Wade (CentralTxHemi) told me about them. I need to get one too!

I called Art...not that he is aware of. Must be on one of the Forums. The one he found is over $600 and is a mirror replacement, 3.5" screen. He did find a camera for $120.

Guess we need to ask Wade where he found out about it.

I just got a license plate camera wired the dvd to the reverse lights and the camera to constant power. This way if I have a large item with the top up I can use the camera as an rear view mirror. But your dvd system needs to have a hookup for a camera by going to the camera thru the menu.

The one that I have is by pioner for that system, my stereo is a NC4 not NC1, sorry about that, the system is set up for a back up camera, just plug and go.

i have one of the Ebay ones, it came from China it cost me $60.00 is a wide angle CCD lens with night vision and i was very surprised with the great picture quality and the night vision, got it last year and can't find the same one anymore, it's not wireless i used a coaxial cable like the tv ones and mounted the RCA jacks i got from Radio Shack it has an adjustable mounting bracket and i mounted it under the rear bumper, i just cant get used to the wide angle, you can get within 4 inches from the car behind you and can still see the all front of it otherwise i love it.
