Hey guys, I've been a member of HTC for awhile now but this is my first post so I hope I'm doing it right haha, well anyways I just did a blow through in my 06 Hemi Quad cab, and it turned out very well if anyone is interested. I wasn't too smart and took no pictures, but any questions are welcome haha. The box is for one Kicker S15L7; it is a bandpass enclosure with 3.1 ft^3 sealed, 4.3 ft^3 ported, a 50 in^2 port area and 7.75in port length. It should be tuned right around 40 hertz, and it definately hits pretty low and loud. I haven't put it to a mic yet, but im guessing it's in the low 150 db's. Im running a 5 farad power acoustik hybrid capacitor, and a 1200W RMS Kove audio amp. Once again thanks for making a great website and club, and I look forward to posting more regularly now, so hello everyone!

What I mean by a blowthrough is I put the 7.4 ft^3 bandpass enclosure in my bed, and then there is a hole cut through the bed and into the cab, and the port from the box sticks through, aka "blowing through", I hope this helps! Btw I actually used one of the rear cab vent holes for the hole cut in the cab

Ya, I wasn't too smart and took none during the install, haha, but ill try to get some as soon as possible, not much of it can be seen tho because the port is behind the drivers side rear seat. Also how do i go about posting pictures? For some reason on this website ive never been able to view pics? They always appear to me as a red circle with a cross through it?? lol

That's because you have to log in to view pics, PMs, etc. If you're not logged in all you're going to see is those little circles Wink

I had it mic'd with the Kove amp and it put out 151.2 db on a 45hrz burp. I actually rescently blew out the Kove amp tho so I am putting the Kicker zx1500.1 to it at 2ohms, which has a 18db bass boost at 40hrz, right at the box tuning, so I am expecting it to play a bit louder.
