i got a zx400.1 mono now...wat i want is to run my door speakers off it...it has a hpf and such...wat i wanna make sure is if i run both speakers which r 4 ohm each,of the mono channel amp,it shouldnt hurt just make the amp run 2 ohms? am i correct? similar to a dvc sub?

correct, but 400watts for the factory door speakers it's way overkill.

haha no i have a 6.5 energy components,...ill just turn the amp down a little...aint using rear speakers

a 1 channel (mono) amp for components is not going to sound good, it will kill the stereo efect.

I was thinking that. I don't know a ton about car audio, but monoblocks are made for subs, which are not made to have high pass, so I wouldn't imagine that would be a good thing. I would run a 4 channel if you want to amp the surrounds. They also have 5 channels that have a class D channel for the sub. I looked into that when I was considering amping surrounds. But now, I think I am just going to run some nice surrounds off a nice HU and amp a sub.
