I have never built a center console box so I'm looking for a little help. I had a single 10 in a ported box.( I have no idea if its correct I just kept doing it until it sounded good) but I am thinking about a single 12. I like fosgate but I'm open to new ideas. If someone could point me in the right direction on how to tune the box, placement of the sub, and the correct size/type of sub. I found something similar on e-bay but I'm unsure what it would sound like.

Like I said before I am wanting something to go where my center console is at and try to make it appear stock if possible. I have a single 10 under the rear seat and it hits hard enough to shake the rear view and drivers mirrors to the point that you have a hard time seeing out of them. I am worried about design and airspace. I have seen tons of shallow subs. Do you compromise soound for the shallow subs. I guess price isn't the issue. I just like to tinker and want something as good or better than I have now.

I took out the center seat and started on the box. There is a little black box that appears to connect the air bags in some way. How have you guys been dealng with that. How far above the floor do you place the sub? Sorry if the questions sound dumb I've never built a box like this and I don't want the sub to rub a hole in the sub or it sound bad.
