I have a kenwood head unit and would like to install the factory Sirius Satellite Radio receiver. I don't want to clutter my dash up with the aftermarket receiver. Can I even connect the factory receiver to the head unit or do I need the aftermarket one and if I can connect the factory one will it be a pain with my head unit?

You will need a new SIRIUS antenna and a Kenwood-SIRIUS adapter box.

Is your Kenwood "Sirius ready/capable?
Did your truck come with Sirius from the factory (and still has the factory antennna)?     |

It says satellite ready but does not specify. Mine did not but I know atleast the '06+ ones do and I prefer the stock setup because I'm trying to load up the truck with everything but I don't want the clutter. My mom has an '06 charger daytona with the little black box and it might be the same as the one on the rams so I figured I might be able to have a stock one installed.

just get a Kenwood Sirius tuner and antenna i got mine for $50.00 used on Ebay like 4 years ago.
