Can you shuffle the songs and discs on the stock 6 disc? I love the 6 disc, but i can only figure out the random play per disc. That really doesn't do me much good, since I don't know the order of the songs anyways for the most part. I want it to shuffle all the discs song to song, but can't find that in the owner's manual or anything. I think it is the RBQ without looking if I remember right.

I had the same issues. I tried all that too. That does suck if you can't. You would think there would be a way. That would be one of the benefits to even having a changer. If I can't, then I won't think twice about getting a different head unit if you can only play one cd at a time anyways.

RDS stands for "Radio Data System" that's what gives you the radio information like radio station name artist name, song title, but not all the stations transmit with RDS.

You can. You just have to buy a separate little box that wires into the headunit and picks up the signal from the steering wheel remote. There are some threads started by stebob in Stereo upgrades where we were talking about that.

I decided to go with an Alpine and get the steering wheel remote adapter. This way I can run an ipod off the stereo. Screw the 6 disc changer. too much to worry about. This way you don't need cd's anyways.

Got my 9885 in. Have to wire it up still though, although I am wondering how that will go down since I guess you are supposed to use a special adapter for the Infinity. I wired my 03 straight out and it was fine though with the Infinity. So I have no clue. I am just going to do it the way I did my last one and see where it goes. If not, I will just have to wait til I get my new speakers to make it work right.

I've learned the '03 was wired differently than the '04 and '05. '06 on up is even different yet. Anyway, the '03 you could use that harness and plug right in and it'll work. Not so much for the '04 and '05.

HOWEVER, they do make an bypass harness for the Infinity amp. http://www.metraonline.com/fit.aspx

That may be your ticket right there.
