Well after some checking and very careful consideration, I have now gone to the digital class amplifiers, Im comming out of the old skool and going to the new skool. Im now running an Alpine PDX-4.100 for my mids and higs, let me stop here and say this amp is a power house, Im only running 2 channels of the 4 on my front soundstage right now, running half gains are higher than anything I have had in here before, freaking kicks the pants off the 400.2 fosgate. Now on to the sub amp, here I am looking at an amp that is 1/2 the case size of the bd1000 that I had, So I said why not, got both of these amps a tad above cost and have 30 day if I dont like it throw it at them backing. LOL. Im now running AlpinePDX 1.1000 for the subs and its as hard as the bd1000.1 at 14 volts anytime, and the best part is they have regulated power supply in them, and hit the same at 12v or 14 volts, This thing hits clearer, and its LOUDER for damn sure. I highly reccomend these amps, they are a bit pricey but worth it 100% in my opinion, and they run very COOL, dont get all hott like the others out there.

Remember the days when Alpine and Kenwood amps just were sucking, well Alpine has stepped up to the plate with these, and they now have a power house amp that will deff kick some azz,

Oh yeah and if your wanting to stack them, you can stack the amplifiers on top of eachother, makes very versatile mounting for any applications, and they are small,


I picked up some more on the mids and highs, my subs are cleaner and louder, my gain settings on both amps are far less than it took to acheive the same with the fosgate, 100% impressed,

they are pricey but you get what you pay for i guess

I got a steal on them, Both for 1100.
