Question...why does this system suck? My 06 charger handled bass 100x better than this truck. The infinity system , 6 disc changer head unit, base set to 0...unless its 80's songs or country music, the bass sounds horrid. WTF? Rap is an utter joke. Hell...kid rock's newest song, All summer long, murder my speakers. They all sound like pure ass. Any inputs??

Acoustics in the trucks really blow. I cant offer a better explanation, but with some tweaking and tuning you make it sound awesome.
Current mods: Exterior: 2003 RC short bed Ram. Chrome 20" Motto wheels, 275/55/20 Bridgestone Duelers, tint, functional SRT-10 Hood, Street Scene bumper cover, de-chromed and painted rear bumper, body matched grill shell, mirrors, door handles, tailgate handle and antenna mount, billet grill and bumper inserts, Bushwhacker street fender flares, polished "Ram" 3rd brake light cover. Engine: Flowmaster 40 series dual exhaust, 3rd Strike dual filter with throttle body spacer. Audio: Alpine 9885 with IPod, Infiniti 3.5", 5.25" and 6x9's, two Kenwood DVC 12" subs with three Kenwood amps running it all through Monster Cable wiring. Optima red-top. Interior: Sueded headliner, color matched A&B pillars, overhead console, and rear light surround. Proudly serving our country with the Marine Corps for 12 years.       |
