Yeah, you are gonna need more than an exhaust and intake to take one of those. Those are at minimum 14 flat cars. The STi's are more like mid to low 13's, and usually are tweaked at least a little since they are turbo cars and easy to tweak. Plus, that is usually what guys buy them for anyways.

..I got to drive a stock 01 or 02 wrx years ago(in 2002 or 2003 I believe)when I worked at a body shop. It was really fast. I called up the local Subaru parts guy about it because I was considering getting one(a WRX),he said-wait a couple of months, they have a new model coming out called the STI,it's a lot better than the WRX. After reading the import magazines about upgrades to make the car faster,I decided not too because I figured I would either kill myself in it or go to jail for tickets. A few months after that,I bought the Hemi. I haven't regretted my purchase...

The older ones only ran high 13s for the STIs. That's a lot quicker than most of our trucks. I wouldn't hesitate to race one, Why not? Who cares if you lose? I won't get butt hurt

Not to mention they have 5 or 6 speed trannies which can launch at like 3500 and not spin a tire with their all wheel drive. Must be nice
