Not sure if it was a 5.4 or a 4.6 (V8 for sure), but I raced a new body style Ford from a light a while back. Streets were wet so I spun through first and he got a length or two, then I hooked and quickly took off and reeled 'im in and left him. Caught him later at 45-50 mph and punched it. Streets still wet, almost got sideways on the downshift! Then hooked and took off, leaving him behind. He was 2wd with pipes only known mod, the only other kid in town-except for my buddy's 4.8 GMC-I could get to run just totalled his truck! Moral: Hemi can not be driven aggressively shortly after rain!!

Not quite stock

Yeah, I managed to spin through first and second once in a light mist. Truck never got sideways, though, so it was kinda fun. Scared the crap out of the guy next to me.

You should try that in an AWD Durango. I think there like 65% front 35% rear drive. It gets real fun when the front tires let loose. Note to self... 4 HIGH when wet.

Yep, that slipping while accelerating on wet pavement can be hazardous to your health, but it is fun and daring. The Toyo tires we put on recently don't spin much on wet surfaces. They must have applied street glue to the treads.
