Me and Brand_x_racing ran our trucks a while ago. Track was closed so we ran them for a short burst on the street. I let him take off first then i hit the gas. I thought he would pull then we would be dead even. I let off a soon as I hit third. Excuses aside, he kicked my ass.

390 HP vs. 345 HP...

It was a good run, and the intake on these trucks and profile change is a huge difference, its like you have a nice cam that only pulls at about 4k and up. Im waiting for superchips to release for these, heard many good things about torque mgmt and supposed to make them pretty sick!

"HEMI-anything else would be uncivilized" 1956 Dodge c3 pickup, 1/2 ton rat rod, 318, disc brake conversion, 904 trans, 791 rear axle, 15 gallon schlitz keg for gas and mini coors light keg for overflow, Its all done by me, built in 6 months, 4.10 gears really diggin in. 77 chevy k-10 8" superlift, 350, sm465 trans- np205 transfer case, gm12 bolt rear locker, 10 bolt front, 4.10 gears on 35's 1925 Ford Model T project-waiting to start on this one but will be my next rat rod 1960 Cushmas Eagle, full chopper, 16hp v-twin, raked to 40 degrees, custom cut fenders and alum accessories, custom silver with blue flames. Im a gearhead for life if ya couldnt tell.    |

There hasnt been anything yet on the fwy to outrun me to 105, The Tqmgmt is lower when your rolling I think so thats why it does so good, just my opinion!

i keep hearing about how fast these 09s are,but i cant get one to race,ive lined up at the stoplight beside them and blipped my throttle,but no takers,are they afraid to blow up thier new truck,or just scared of the rumble from my dual flowmasters?maybe they think "why waste my gas on an 08,i know ill waste him."i just want to see what they will do, if they win,more power to them.even with my mods i doubt im making 390 hp.

Man, I would not be so sure of that. A cam, heads, full exhaust, tuned, etc.....I think I would be disappointed if I was under 390hp with all that. Unless you started at 300 like a Ferd or Chebby.
