My friend just picked up his new truck an 08 silverado. Dumped some money into it. Air induction and I believe its the programmer thats mounted to the dash. We pulled up at a red light and when it turned green I went for it. Took him by over 4 cars. All he could say is that You got me fair and square and it was a good run. If i am correct they have the 403 hp motor in them. Same as the cadi truck.

i think those cadillacs have a 6.2 liter in them. the most you can get in a chevy is a 6.0 which is about 370. but im not sure

Only the 2008 Cadillacs and the GMC Sierra Denali have the 6.2, so its probably the 6.0 which is around 370hp. 2009 is the first year you can get a 6.2 in the regular chevy and GMC trucks.2005 Yellow Rumble Bee 4x4 Second Swarm #3248, Mods? He could've also had a 4.8 or 5.3, you should ask him sometime.

Yeah, I'd like to know what motor he has too. If it is a 5.3 he has no chance ever of beating you with the mods you mentioned. He'd need a lot more. This guy was bragging about his 5.3 at the track. The whole time we were waiting to get lined up he just kept revving his engine and looking me down. He didnt want to stop and talk after we raced, just kept driving and looking forward when i waved him over. Wonder why?
