Well heres my situation im planning on lifting my truck and the wheels that are on it came with it im just not sure if it would be wise to keep them and put big tires on them. ive also heard that chrome wheels probly wouldnt be the best for trails. Im going to lift the front to level the truck stance and in the future i wanna to either 3inch body or 4 inch suspension. ill add some pics of my truck and wheels what would be better go with a 17inch rim much cheaper tires or take a chance with the 20s and put big tires on those.

I love beating ricers with a 5000lb truck!

I personally would go to 17's. There is many more choices and at better prices for tires. Especially if you are going to off road the truck.

My personal preferance for an off road tire is the BFG Mud Terrains. They last pretty well and are good off road plus they have thick side walls.

Yea they are expensive. But they are a little cheaper in 17's. If I can't find 17 inch wheels that I like I will probably get those Cooper Zeon LTZ's . They are more reasonalbe priced.

iagree Cheaper tire are a def plus in todays economy. In addition, you get more side wall with 17s which is great on trails and on asphalt... Curbs are very unforgiving... bump

thumb2 For off road driving you'll want all the side wall on a tire you can get. Big Grin
