I've gotten a bunch of emails and calls in the last couple of days on how to hook up the PSC1-003.

>>>>>This is how to wire it up on an 04'<<<<<

Red wire t-taps to (C1P29) Solid Red wire

Black wire t-taps to (C2P27) Blue w/ Green stripe MAP Sensor Ground (Middle wire of MAP Sensor)

Cut MAP Sensor Signal Wire about 6" before PCM. This wire is Purple w/ Black Stripe going to C2

Violet wire splices to (C2P23 Purple w/ Black Stripe) cut end of MAP wire on the PCM side

Yellow wire and Green wire go together and splice into cut end of MAP wire on the MAP Sensor side Purple w/ Black Stripe wire

Yellow w/ Black Stripe wire t-taps to tach signal off #8 Injector. The wire closest to the red clip

Yellow w/Green Stripe wire is not used (not in diagram but is on the PSC1-003)

Click on pic below to enlarge.

This is a little ugly drawing I made for the 04 setup.

Here is a pic of the t-tapped Injector Tach Wire. Wire next to the red clip off #8 fuel injector.

Ph thats the way I have it and it barely runs. My lap top will not communicate with the ecm. So I disconnected it entirely and now I have the lightning bolt that stays on? The 05s and the 04s are the same? Is there something I'm missing about the map sensor wire am I supposed to be connecting it directly to the wires off the map sensor?

platinum, I have a single cab, o3 hemi same color and all as yours, if you wouldnt mind, is there anyway you would mind giving me a breakdown of what you have done to your truck to get those numbers? I'm hopefully going to have my truck paid off soon, and a project of mine while going back to school is to boost up the hp/tq on this beast. Any help would be GREATLY appreciated

joey,

The psc1-003 allows you to adjust the fuel air mixture throughout the rev range.

This is needed if you have anything but a mild cam change etc.

You need an A/F wideband to see what this ratio is throughout the rev range.

Then by using a laptop in the cab you can map the correct settings into the software that then update the PSC1-003 ( a small black box ).

This then changes the outputs to provide the correct amount of fuel.

I have just purchased one

can someone tell me how to go about tuning the psc, or possibly send me a tune that would work for my truck? also on the directions with the psc, where it says write data to ECU: what exactly does this mean? I dont want to mess with it because it says there is no undo for this, and I'd hate to really scew something up.
