To all owners of 06 and 07's wanting 456's.. The housing has to be ground in order for 456's to fit. DONT let anyone tell you any different and make sure the shop you use to do the install is WELL aware of this. Even if they have been doing gears for 40 years and think they know everything (like my first 2 yoyo's). Starting late 05 the rear-ends are built by American Axle Manufactors NOT Chrysler and are smaller towards the passenger side of the housing which is where the 456's rub because they are a thicker gear.. The gears have to be installed and set, turned by hand to mark the housing then dissasembled and the housing is ground where the marks are for clearance.. No other way.. FYI
