Okay, so here's a question. So is an original 426 the same bore as a 6.1L and this crank just adds the necessary stroke to bring it up to a 7.0L? Or, is the original 426 actually a bigger bore, but has a shorter stroke than this crank provides? I am guessing the latter. And if so, then this would make it a different "version" of the 7.0L then.... 4.25 bore and 3.75 stroke on the old 426 6.9 liter hemis.
I think the new ones are a 4.1 bore and 3.58 stroke for the 6.1s I'm kind of surprised our 5.7s make the torque that they do with that relatively short stroke.
