My 2005 moose seems to be haunted. I noticed first intermiten wipers were not consistent. No biggie, but then the rest of the story. We were prego, and had a miscarriage. Come to find out we had twins, and ended up having a beautiful boy. Well since, 2 months old we are sitting on couch and a mist appears for a minute. Weird. Week later, and i have him in my arms and go into garage to get cell out of truck. I opened my truck door and wipers made a cycle. I figured it was him. But since it has happened with me alone, unlock door and they cycle. Anyone else have this happen? Is it a computer issue, grounding issue, etc? I did also have to replace a rear tail light bulb once when one of these occurrences happened.

I am assuming it is just one of those quirks Dodge has. It is no big deal, just weird. Glad I'm not alone. I wondered if it had anything to do with the fact some days truck runs like a banshee, and others it runs like a Ford with the same temp and barometer range.

Yeah, I had a post on this recently. My intermittent would work when I turned it on then it wouldn't, but when it would it would never be consistent on speed. Hi/Lo were fine. I went to the dealer, replaced the relay for $18. Took the old relay and put it in the empty block above the wiper relay which was the Wiper Park spot I think, and then the wipers started coming on every time on intermittent, but still have a mind of their own speed wise. I give it up. Not sure really. Don't think it is worth spending hundreds and time trying to figure it out. Someone said replace the switch arm, but I don't know.

I thought it was just my 05 that had the freaky wipers. The intermittent will cycle inconsistently, going once then 2-3 times in row. Kinda glad to find it is not just mine.

That's exactly what mine did. You know though, I replaced the relay and like I said, put the old one in the slot above it. Yesterday was the first real time I used them in rain, and they worked perfectly all day. Go figure. Not sure if the relay ultimately fixed it, or just made it better and they had a good day. When I first replaced it, they seemed to be better because they would always come on, but I never really got to try them over a period of time in rain. They still seemed to have a mind of their own, but that could have been me messing with the speed making them go on/off more. Not sure. It's electrical...who knows. I figure it is good enough now to not worry about. you think Dodge would have had a recall on that as common as it seems.

Same here! I was thinking of getting a new relay for them but was curious if I was the only one having wipers with a mind of their own. Being new to Hemi's it's good to know I ain't the only one!

Welcome 05hemifan, glad to have ya join us! hello
Sorry you guys are having wiper issues. Guess I've been lucky. Second Hemi Ram and no issues...with the wipers. Only problem I've ever had was a leaking differential on my 04. After the 4th time they got it fixed. Mad

That seems like a weird problem to have. What? They couldn't just put rtv sealant on it like all of us do when we service ours? Or was it leaking somewhere else?
