First welcome2htc
Are you sure it is coming from the front of the engine? Is there any belt wear? You can remove the belt and spin all of your pulleys and see if there is any noise coming from them. Is the power steering pump fluid corect? This is just a few starting points for you until someone with more knowledge comes along. goodluck1

possible, i had to replace my alternator at 40k rear bearing noise, i took the alternator apart and put some grease in the bearing, it stopped making noise but after a couple of days it came back, if you can find a replacement bearing it's easy to change

goodluck1 good luck and you can once you have your alternator off of the truck and at the auto parts store have them put it on their tester and run it and see if it makes the noise
