Bare with me, I used MS paint with a picture of a similar tire.

I just happened to be fixing a leaking hole in my driver side front tire, when I finished I inspected the other tires to see how they were, and discovered the passenger side was chipping off rubber along the whatever lines in the rubber.

Also its doing it clear across the tire, from what I can tell, a front tire, which is why I questioned the alignment issue.



Its only doing this on one tire, and its a fairly worn out tire, about 35% tread or so, so I wasn't sure if this was an alignment issue or just these good years going out with a bang.

Looks like bad tire wear!!

I did some discussing with my father and we agreed that there was clearly no cupping or anything like an alignment issue, so I'm fairly certain the previous owner just liked spinning the tires and I didn't notice it.

We placed the two most warn tires on the front when we fixed the truck.
