well took my truck to a mustang dyno today. pretty comfortable with my numbers i think. put down 270 HP/292 FT. LBS. and 18.7 A/F. running rich since i took my cats off and it throws a code. hopefully i can get that fixed and try again to see if i can get a little more out of it. just curious as to what everyone else thinks of it. are those decent numbers? i didnt really know what to expect

I hope the 18.7 AF is a typo.... Eeker

Way too lean.

Just curious as to why you dropped your cats.

Dodge has used hi-flow cats since 2005, there is very little benefit on a mildly modified Hemi by removing them.

With the mods you have I wouldn't expect much more than 280-290 @ the wheels. Which is about right.

Good luck with your quest for horsepower!

i mostly took that cats off because i wanted to get stupid loud with my exhaust and was hoping it would help out a little. the A/F was all over the place though, if i could scan my test report youd see it looks about like a 2 yr old scribbled all over the graph

Isn't it supposed to be more like 12s or low 13s?

How much do AF gauges cost?

Man if that was true, your piston and heads should be melded as one!

AFR at WOT should be about 12.3 to 12.5 or so. Were they using the end of tailpipe sniffer or did they weld a bung into your exhaust prior to where the cats used to be?

have had a stock, 6.1, 260, and a spartan cam. dont ask..

I would check for exhaust leaks and get your A/F straight.

Either the dyno's A/F gauge is screwed or you have a problem that will cost you money (engine)
