OK, Whemis, it's time to decorate the house again. Seems like we just took the decorations down??? My how time flies!

So, who has put up their tree? I was planning on doing it last Saturday, but didn't get that accomplished. Oh well, I'm off tomorrow afternoon, so guess I'll at least get the corner cleaned out!

Yesterday I went to Wally World and got most of Megan's Santa stuff. She knows the secret, but still believes, so Santa will be visiting us again this year.

When y'all stop by, put up one of these strings of lights. It don't matter where you put them, but if everyone does one string, the house will be lit up like a ... well ... Christmas Tree!!!

Got our tree up Saturday (fake tree but nice all the same)(new last year) but didn't decorate it til last night. I was going to wait til this weekend but figured I would be too busy so finished up at 11:30 PM last night. BB was at work already so I did it by myself. Have the mother-in-law coming on Friday and the Grandson's 2nd birthday Saturday, not sure but BB is trying to get Sunday off. Figured last night was my best bet on getting the decorating done!

I didn't get it done yet. but I'm sure Megan will force me to get the tree up this weekend.

MBB...when I was a kid, my aunt and uncle used to go to Maine to visit their son every Christmas and they would bring back this wonderful maple candy in the shape of maple leaves. Do you know what I'm talking about? I thought they got it in Vermont. If you can get some and are willing to send it to me, I would gladly pay you for it. If I remember right, they were individually wrapped. Please let me know...

I had a hectic day yesterday. First off, the Christmas parade was at 11 AM yesterday. So, since I had to work, I woke Megan up early so she could go into town with me at 7:45, and I would drop her off at the parade line-up at 10:30. OK, I get to the parade linu-up area and the guy who is telling everyone where to go is trying to line me up with the rest of the vehicles (I guess because they are used to us driving the Daytona in the parade???). Anyway, I told him I wasn't going to be in the parade this time, but I needed to drop Megan off with the Girl Scouts. Found the scout area, and dropped her off. After the parade, the Girl Scouts had craft day, so I didn't have to pick her up until 2PM. So after I get off work at 12, I go to the hardware store for insulation for the windows and doors. Got home and got the windows insulated, then picked up Megan. Got home about 3PM and cleaned out the corner to put up the tree. Got the tree out of the box and standing up in the corner, when the phone rings. Bandit's sister had a 4 wheeler accident and was taken to the local hospital. She has some bleeding on the brain, but we don't know what they are going to do, yet. They flew her to Tyler about 6PM. Anyway, got back home from the hospital and finished the tree...about 8:30 PM! That's all the decorating I got done yesterday.

Where are ya, girl? I have really been missing you. You really ought to call once in awhile. My cell # hasn't changed. The last time I tried calling you, I didn't get YOU! So I'm assuming (yeah, I know what that is) that you changed phone numbers???

I got all my Santa stuff bought. Just waiting on one more package to arrive via USPS. Then we're picking up Phillip's daughter Amanda at DFW on Xmas day...we'll be having dinner on Saturday this year.

Phillip's sister is fine, the bleeding on the brain turned out to be nothing, but she does have a couple of ruptured discs in her neck. She'll be in a neck brace for awhile.

Y'all have a good Xmas, whereever you are!
