All right, folks...the holidays are here. The decorations are all put up...thanks for the help!

Everyone is invited to come and go here at the Whemi House. This party will be going on until January 1st. Bring a covered dish and your favorite beverages, desserts, snacks, etc. Take 'em to the kitchen and feel free to make yourself a plate.

Post whatever it is that makes your holiday special. Post your favorite Christmas memory. Post a special song, picture, or story.

I want to make this our official Hemi Family Christmas Get-to-gether. It is impossible to plan an HTC GTG this time of year...what with weather and family plans. I thought we needed a place to sit down with our family and share what makes Christmas special to each of us.

I've put Amish Friendship Bread and three kinds of fudge (chocolate, chocolate/coconut, and peanut butter) in the kitchen. I'll check back later to see who else showed up and brought food! There's sweet tea in the fridge and a 20lb bag of ice in the freezer.

And I put some food out for Pup, so he won't go hungry.

Thanks, Angela. I'll get some baked potato soup going in the crock pot since it's so cold out. I was going to make some Oreo truffles but it looks like we have plenty of sweets already. Morris is wearing is flannel Christmas bling-bling pants so I think we're good to go. queen I also put on some Christmas music to liven things up.

MERRY CHIRSTmas!!!! everyone..
here's some homemade almond roca, cold cut sandwiches, a bottle of sparkling cider,
CHRISTmas time is a time that all our friends and family "make" time for each to recall on all the fun times, the struggles that we thought we would never get through and be so amazed that we did and still wonder how we did, its about creating new memories. Most of all for me anyways I often wonder why poeple need to have a season, to make an excuse to be extra nice to others they dont know or have compassion towards those who are less fortunate.. why cant CHIRSTmas be everyday.. its not about money, or material objects recieved. For me its about old friends, new friends and family.
Thank You HTC for being my new family!!! Everyone have a WONDERFUL CHRISTmas!! and a very blessed NEW YEAR!! May all of your hearts dreams and desires be full filled this CHIRSTmas and through the New Year!!!

I'll leave the stuffed mushrooms and the little biscuit wrapped franks in the kitchen, also some cheese & crackers!

I remember the last Chrismas at my Grammy's house. I was about 6 years old. We had Christmas at our house after that year but it was a memorable Christmas for me. I got a doll I wanted and a homemade clothes butler that my Uncle had made in the form of a giraffe.

Hope everyone has a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

hello

The food will go out about 7pm here, and again on Christmas day, all day long.

The door is always open and everyone is welcome. The more the merrier. Mr.T loves company, and pouts when you leave.

Hope everyone has a great day!

Mrs. BigBlue already knows this (Thanks again!)...

My favorite Christmas memory from when I was little...my aunt and uncle would go to Maine every year for Christmas to visit their son. They would bring me the maple candy in the shape of a maple leaf.

Mrs. BigBlue hooked me up with Green Mountain Sugar House (gmsh.com). I got 2 lbs in the mail last week....YUMMY!

Buster...thanks for the outside decorations ...they are lovely!
