Since the weather has cooled down, I decided to give the Mustang a break today and I am racing the Ram. I hope to beat my 14.97. I have since added Edelbrock shorties and I am hoping that will give me a 10th. The collector is so tiny though that it doesn't seem like they can do much. I couldn't pass up the deal though. I will run the short belt again today, which I did when I ran the 14.97. There was a huge headwind that night but it was also really cold. The speed was down from the headwind but the ET was also down from the short belt and 60 degree temps. I ran 14.99 without the shortbelt with no headwind and it was 2mph faster. I just hope that it is pretty cool today with no wind. It will probably be mid 70's. I already removed the tailgate and the bed mat. I'll remove the spare when I get there and install the short belt. I just hope it doesn't spin. I am going to try running it without airing down the tires first and see how it holds.
