Well i took my truck out to the strip tonight and the best i could get was a 16.84 at 81 mph with a 2.43 60 ft. That was with no spinning whatsoever and almost 3/4 of a tank of gas. Do those times seem average?

Side note- i raced a 9 sec street camaro and it made me feel like i was in reverse, haha.

Seems slow for an 07. I ran a 15.4 with a full tank of gas and toolbox 100% stock. It weighed 5300 lbs. What does your truck weigh?

How big are your tires? what gears do you have? How are you shifting it? How are you launching it?

Your 60 foot isnt that great but I don't see how you wouldn't at least be in the high 15s.

The tires are the stock goodyears on stock 20 inch rims. not sure of the gears in the back. Im just letting the transmission shift and when i launch im just holding the brake and loading the tc up to about 1400. My elevation is around 5500 ft. i also let my truck cool down for almost an hour when i did the 16.8 run.

There should be a sticker inside the glove box on the door that lists the axle ratio.

5500 feet is a bunch. That will have a big effect on performance.

It the truck came from the factory with 20s then it will have 3.92s.

I still can't believe you're not faster. Any idea what your truck weighs?

no idea what the truck weighs, but its just a quad cab 2wd and it had about 3/4 tank of gas. Yea i was pretty bummed all night about my time. I was hoping for even mid 16's even at the this altitude.

For the Altitude you are at, you did fine! I am at 3000ft and what you have runs mid 15's up.

This url is site i use sometimes. It is a altitude correction only, NOT a Density Correction!

Your 16.84 correction to sea level is a 15.74. Still a good run for what you have.
