Ok went to a track up around Lufkin 1/4 mile, Well found out that Mich. L/s Tires totaly suck on the strip! Spun through the 60ft for a 2.4 60 ft time overall et was a 16.406 the first time, second time I ran a 16.04 spinning to the 60ft again trying to pedal it to get traction, Im going through the gate at 88 - 89 mph, If I could hook it should be mid to low 15's and I know I can shave .33 off by not sleeping on the light but hey its been 6yrs since Ive raced on a tree, still not too bad! First time racing the truck, made 2 passes, know I need gears, and tires more than anything!!!

Your reaction time has nothing to do with your ET. The timers dont start until the truck crosses the starting line. You could sit at the line for 30 seconds and your ET would still be the same. Wink

If you could get your 60' down in the 2.0-2.1 range that would knock at least half a second off of your times.

Been a while and I do Forget!!! LOL, too many late nights between those times and these! I know the truck had a 15 second pass in it, going to find some cheapo take off tires and mount on some rims and take it again, I know the spinning killed the et for sure!!! Was fun, love the way these trucks drive down the strip!!! Felt Great, Im deff comming out of retirement for sure!!!

My '05 RCSB has a 3.92 peg leg gear and factory 20's and mods very similar to yours. I have to ease my truck off the line and then nail it. Even then I get some wheel spin. But I sure can't just nail it from the get-go. My best 1/4 mile is 14.71 seconds @ 92 mph (1200 feet altitude). My best 60 foot time that day was 2.27 seconds.
