I ran 14.81 stock and with an intake, 180t stat and a superchip I only knocked my time down to 14.59. My best now is 14.52

I wanna know how you ran a 14.8 with a STOCK QC 4x4. That's unheard of. I would guess you should run a high 13 or so now. The weight of your truck is what's killing you. Maybe your tune isn't that great? IDK????

Your truck has to weigh about 5500-6000 lbs. That's HEAVY

Do you have your best time slip? A 2.03 60' sounds pretty damn good for a 14.5 at only 90 mph.

I'm going with weight. You have a heavy truck. Your 2.03 60' shows that you have some traction, maybe your tune is leaning out at the top end? You have decent performance mods. I have less mods than you, when I had 2.03-2.04 60's with my comp 260,no PSC tuning, no tc and no heads,I ran 14.0's to 14.10's,but,I have a 2wd reg cab. Put your truck on a diet the next track day.

It has to be more than the weight though. Unless he ran a 15.8 STOCK which sounds more accurate for an 03 4x4 and quad cab.

I would like to think that with his mods he gained more than .3 seconds.

Weather also plays a big part. In 70 degree weather I can run a 6.0 0-60. In 30 degree weather I can break the tires loose bad and still run a 5.18 0-60. Our hemis love that cold air

For comparison purposes my 60' is 2.12 (I think) and I ran 14.52 @ 92.5 mph. That's No spin off the line, and barely hitting 3rd gear on the top end.

I'm sorry Charlie Taylor, there's no way you ran 14.8 stock. It was more then likely 15.8.

I ran 15.6's with an intake and muffler on my 03' when I first started. Then down to 15.2's with superchips on.

Your 1/4's look good for your vehicle and mods. You just a heavier truck to shoot out of the hole is all.

What size tires are you running and what kind? What's your gear ratio? Witch some tire and gear ration adjustments you can get faster if you still on stock.

Well i ran 14.8 at 90 with a headers, flowmaster catback, superchips and intake. I used the term stock pretty loosely. But i added cam/heads/fan/converter n picked up 2/10 wtf?

I'm thinking i'm suffering from tuning issues
i dyno'd at 310hp and 347 ft lbs of tq... strong tq point bein like 4400 rpms.

I'm seriously looking at 4x4/sc/sb rams now because im seriously unhappy with this.

My rims are 17's. My 60 ft are pretty consistent i was running 275/50/17 drag radials. Like seriously my truck is fast till it shifts into 3rd gear and it just bogs down from 77ish.. to about 90.. Like someone latches a trailor on to my truck around that speed.

also, are you running on the same track when you did 'stock' runs vs your more recent ones?

I'm still surprised you ran 14.8 with just those mods.

Does sound like a tuning issue, with those mods you should be well over 310 hp. And if the heads and cam do that little then it's not worth the money to me.

Same Track, Atco Raceway in NJ. I'm at sealevel if that helps. As for the psc1-003. I tuned with a wideband for 12.8 to 13.0. Howevr to get my a/f ratio at some spots at WOT. i would have to go as high as 4.8 volt colomn which at are baro the computer doesnt read it. So a 10.8 in the 4.8 colomn puts me beyond what the pcm can read. I think i need tuning solution.

At wide open you should be striving for closer to 12.5. Some guys have even gone richer then that. It all depends on what your combo of mods like.

With the tire size your using I'd consider going to 4.10's or even 4.56's. Unfortunately with a 4x4 you have to do both axles which will get costly.

Do you have factory 3.92's or did you get the 3.55's. Quite a few thought they got 3.92's but actually got 3.55's.
