Of course I wasn't in my Ram, but I am excited and had to share it with you guys. I was in my Stang. Not too bad for a full weight street car still spinning the smog pump and AC!

I still wasn't hooking. I had to lift twice in 1st on every pass and I was only launching it at 2500 rpm. It was also about 75 degrees out! I was hoping for mid 60's.

Quickest

Follow up with little cool down

Quickest with bigger pulley to reduce boost, lowered timing, and added fuel

After that I hot lapped it with the lower boost setup and ran 11.11 @ 125 and 11.16 @ 125mph.

No, I just went to Sacramento Raceway where they sometimes let you get away with safety violations. They also don't know me there and I very rarely go there so I didn't care if they kicked me out. I usually race in the bracket drags at Infineon (Sears Point) on Wednesday nights. If I ran a 10 there they would not let me back until I had a cage and they would be super pissed at me.

This is the first time since I got the new motor that I ran it out with the small blower pulley on sticky tires. I was running the Mickey Thompson ET Street bias ply tires. They still weren't hooking. The track prep sucked. I would have been a tenth quicker in the 60ft at Infineon.

I will just put my oversized blower pulley back on that keeps the boost around 9psi and run the crappy Nitto drag radials. That keeps me over 11.50 @ around 120mph. However, it can still go under with that setup in the cold weather if the tires hook good enough for a sub 1.8 60ft.

I still have to drop the kids off at the way out to the track on Wednesdays, so a cage is not an option right now.

It felt pretty good to drive the car 100 miles to the track, bust out some 10 second runs, and then drive it back home 100 miles.

I think there were less than 30 cars. I got 7 runs and I was letting it cool a little between runs. I couldn't get 1st gear to hook. If you have any traction problems, try running at Infineon on a weekend bracket race when they prep the track really well.

Even on Wednesdays when the track prep is not as good at Infineon, I still hook better than I did at Sac. It was fun finally getting to run this thing out. Now I have to swap pulley's and retard the timing and put the radials back on to keep it over 11.50. I may even run it naturally aspirated to see if I can tune it better NA and beat my 12.35 @ 108.5 mph. I would love to get into th 12.20's and break 110mph NA. Before when I was NA I didn't have a tuner. Now I can dial it in with my Tweecer.

Nice.

What do have 2 sets of scoreboards?
Noticed the cameraman knew you hit 7.0 at the 1/8th.

edit; caught in the 2nd vid they are flashing it on the board . that's slick.

Yep, they flash the 60ft, 1/8th, and then the 1/4 as you trip the beams. It is pretty cool. We knew that anything under 7.1 should be in the 10's so that is why he was excited with the 7.0. Also, I have already shifted to 4th by the time I hit the 1/8th so he knew all I had to do was keep it to the floor. I also had 100.9mph in the 1/8 which meant it was going to be a quick pass.
