This is my first post here (and also first time here). I am a Canuck from way up north and love the new Dodges (the trucks for the most part). I don't actually have one yet but hopefully I will have one in the summer time. I actually have an 06 Mustang which really isn't suiting me too well (you try to control the damn thing in the winter time on icy roads) and I'm more of an outdoorsy type of character who could use a truck for practical purposes (I'm a trophy hunter as well).

I have been looking at selling my car up here for around $23,000 which may seem expensive to you American folk but for some reason, vehicles are much more expensive up here, and taking a road trip during the summer and grabbing myself a Rumble Bee for around $20,000. I am a college student who pays for everything (I work rigs during the summer) and my tuition and car is all paid by me. No I am not spoiled. I am just blessed to be living in oil rich Alberta where anyone could grab a $30 an hour job. The only thing I get help with is my insurance as I am only 19 years young and my insurance is through the roof ($5500 last year and $3800 this year--with no driving infractions...) and my parents pay half. I am very independent and proud.

But anyways, I'm looking forward to the summer when I can put away more cash and come down and take a nice trip through the States (it'll be cheaper than shipping and I'll get a cool couple days out of it) and picking up a new Dodge. So in the mean time, you might catch me browsing through here every once in a while just to learn and get familiar with the Hemi's so that when the time comes, I have a little bit of background on them. I included a picture of my car so that everyone could make fun of it. Haha.

See you around.

Officially speaking, you have to actually own a Hemi truck or SUV prior to becoming a registered member. But I was very impressed with your first post... and for a 19 year old you seem very mature! So welcome aboard sKwiatkowski18 - hope you find your Hemi soon thumb2

Thanks for the warm welcome. I didn't know that I had to own a Hemi to be here...my bad. But thanks for keepin' me around. I'm about as harmless as a caveman with a broken club. As for mods on the new truck (when I get it) I've already picked out the exhaust. The meanest, the loudest exhaust I've ever heard: AT3030. I come from a family where the loudest, most badass sounding truck rules the road. They're all mechanics and avid derby'ers so you can imagine they're experiences with pipes and stacks. And to me, you can't beat the sound of an AT3030 Hemi. I'm pumped.
