I am the proud owner of a slightly used 2005 Ram 1500 with the Hemi in it and I had a few questions...
The truck is a quad cab 2WD with the Hemi like I said above. It's an SLT model with leather seats with suede inserts and a 6 disc infiniti stereo system from the factory. It also has a factory (i think) ground effects kit and what looks to be a factory exhaust. My question being, was there a line of the trucks that came with the ground effects kit and a magnaflow exhaust stock? I have no pictures just yet, but I am slowly trying to learn the ins and outs of my newly aqquired truck. Also, I seem to be having the problem i've seen people mentioned before, and that is my cruise control only likes to work when it wants. Anyone ever find a fix to that or what the cause is? I look forward to learning a lot about this truck in the near future, because so far i LOVE it. Thanks! ________________________ 2005QC    |

Yes, ground effects are from the factory... either the Hemi Sport, Rumble Bee, or Daytona. One can buy the ground effects package and have them painted to match though. Welcome christopher, glad to have ya aboard. Like MrHemi said you can buy the ground effects kit so there is a good possibility that it's an after it was "built" mod. You may be able to check with a dealer. They can find out what it came equipped with from the vin number. I added the Daytona kit to my 04. Loved it.

You might want to try a PCM reset and see if the cruise settles down. Remove the + cable from the battery for about 15 minutes and see what happens. Or you have a faulty speed sensor.
