Madalyn’s Story
Madalyn “Maddie” Jackson was born with a very painful disease called Osteogenesis Imperfecta. She just turned six years old and has already had over 80 breaks and has endured eight painful surgeries to help strengthen her bones and will need many more. Madalyn’s parents were warned that she may not survive her birth, but best case scenario was a life expectancy of just three months. Madalyn did survive her birth to her doctor’s surprise and to everyone’s delight. Her doctors then changed her life expectancy to three years and now she is expected to live until 21 years of age. Madalyn in a word is a “miracle”. Madalyn is one of the most amazing children you could meet. Despite not being able to walk, she does not think that she is different from other children. She does what her body allows her to and is a very happy girl. Madalyn is sweet, witty, loving and has the most amazing sense of humor. Her wonderful attitude toward life is an inspiration. Every day you can see Madalyn’s determination and her story is evidence of how she has strived to survive. Not only is Madalyn a miracle, but Madalyn is a fighter!

James do you know how many trophies they will have for trucks????

I ordered 76 thophies, you will decide who get one as each owner will vote for there top ten. the car or truck with the most votes will get Best in show. The next 5 will get Best in class. the next 70 will get one for there votes.

Sounds like you have quite an event planned. I'm looking forward to making it out this year.

Dodge Motorsports has offered to send me some autographed hats from the Dodge teams so we can raise a little more money for Maddie. We will have a silent acution for these and other items we come up with between now and show time.

James, I am sorry I wont be able to make the show this year. There is a show in Millville, NJ I already paid for registration. Again sorry. Have a beer and hotdog for me dude.

The question came up about if you had to pay to do the NASCAR simulator, The answer is No, But we will have a donation jar there for Maddie, You can register the day of the show, It's $15 if you pre-register it only $10. We will have a dash plaque, and tee shirt for the first 200 cars or trucks that register. I have also got 10 tickets for the Dover race on June 1st. thanks to the guys at Chrysler. and more goodies keep comming.

In a effort to raise as much money as we can for Maddie, Dave Strohminger (Schaefer & Strohminger White Marsh Dodge) has offered to sell a 2008 Dodge Challenger SRT8 for MSRP to the person who is willing to make the largest donation to Maddie at this years car show. The car will sticker for about $40,995.00 + tax and tags. I did not think this would happen since most of these cars are going for 10 grand over sticker. But Mr. Dave (as we know him at the dealership) has made the offer to help raise money for her. What do you guys think about parking the Rams around the Nascar Simulator? Also I will be at the Dealership at 7:30 the day of the show and if someone would like to get here early to help set up, we could us the help.

Ok just wanted to give you the totals for this fund raiser. Maddie recived about $2,600 at the show, about a month ago we got her a van with a wheel crair lift that some one was going to trade in, and today we sold the Challenger and got her a check for $5,000. When I get back to work on thursday I'll post some pics. Again I would like to thank everyone for there support.
