Here's whats going on. I have a loud rubbing/grinding noise from about 10mph and up. At 60 it is there not as loud just faster. When I let off the gas and start coasting down you can here it more kinda like whop, whop, whop. When I turn left it gets louder than going straight. Same for turning right just not as bad. My abs and brake light stay on. I replaced the rear diff speed sensor and the lights are still there. I just replaced all four rotors and pads with napa high performance rotors and ebc green stuff pads. Nothings fixed but I do have good brakes. Please let me know some ideas. I was thinking front wheel bearings?

maybe wheel bearings, and or the limited slip has grenaded, and those parts are chewing up the gears now. Frowner

sounds like a good time to schedule the install.. do you also have the master re-build kit? Have the tech really check the rear end over for any other issues while he has it. thumb2

It doesn't sound like the rear. It sounds like its coming from the front. And when I go around corners it gets a lot louder. Then when I straighten out it kinda dies down. It is a lot more noticeable between 25-35 mph.

iagree what you can do is remove brake caliper and then you can freely spin the tire. you should be able to hear it then. but from what you describe i would say its the right front bearing. but i would replace both front bearings because in my experience if one has gone bad the other is not far behind.

I went ahead and called Duane last night and ordered a drivers side bearing. Hopefully that will fix it. Gonna do one at a time just in case my problem is something else.

So what have we learned in 2 millennia?

"The budget should be balanced, the Treasury should be refilled, public debt should be reduced, the arrogance of officialdom should be tempered and controlled, and the assistance to foreign lands should be curtailed lest Rome become bankrupt. People must again learn to work, instead of living on public assistance."
- Cicero - 55 B.C.

Apparently, nothing......

"How far you go in life depends on you being tender with the young,
compassionate with the aged,
sympathetic with the striving and tolerant of the weak and the strong.
Because someday in life you will have been all of these."
