I posted this in the brakes section with no luck.
I have ABS lines running to the hub on the driver side, but not to the passenger side. I've searched and couldn't find any info. I don't think this is correct.

Total Distortion, I have the same thing. I just had to order new front hubs from Duane@3rdstrike and we ran into the same thing. My origanal window sticker says that I only have 2wheel rear abs. But I have an additional sensor that runs to my drivers side hub. Don't know why. I have my ABS/Brake light on on my dash so I went ahead and replaced the rear diff speed sensor. That did not fix the problem. So I am thinking it is the drivers side sensor. And I do have rubbing/grinding noise coming from the front. Hopefully it will fix my problem. But answer to you question, I do not have an ABS sensor on the passenger side. I think it was an early '04 thing. I bought my truck in April '04.

and in the rear its not really true 2 wheel abs, our system is only a three chanel system using the sensor in the diff for both rear wheels not independent sensors for each rear wheel.

Huh! Wierd. So I guess if you can keep one wheel from locking up it's as good as keeping them all from locking up. A good way to save a buck I suppose.

From what I was reading in the service manual is that the sensors are there to monitor wheel speed and then it sends a signal to the ABS module which in mounted next to the battery. Then the module which has brake lines running from it, applies the right amount of pressure to the brakes for the speed.

Both sensors, on the rear axle and the front hubs are just speed sensors. My 03 has them on both front hubs. Haven't checked the 08, so I don't know on it. I can tell you one thing, that sensor in the rear differential is a PIA to get out!
