coming from the mid to rear of my 2006 quad cab hemi 36,000 miles. I did replace my tires with silent armors(they were quite when installed) 1,700 miles ago but the noise just started 200 miles ago. not a brake sound or metal on metal. the frequence seem to directly relateted to road speed. Oh i also had the differental fluid changed recently at valvoline and noticed on the paper work that they put 75w90 which is correct for the front but the rear calls for 75w140, which i got from the dealer along with a 4ounces of additve and had them replace what they put in( the guy told me that it was just a miss print but i had them change it any way. i drove it that way for 200 hundred miles. Please give me your suggestions.

Thanks for your reply wheily.

One of the rear diff. bearings came apart 2000 miles after valvoline replaced my rear end fluid with the wrong(75w90) fluid, should have been 75w 140.

I have a claim with valvoline now.
