Well, I had my ABS & brake light on for the past 6 months. Replaced all the wheel speed sensors, to include the front hubs. Had to get my trucks annual inpsection completed(very anal here in Germany). So I took my truck to the dealer Mercedes/Dodge dealer. The guy there was really good, BUT my ABS module was fried. He couldn't even talk to the module with his ABS reader. So it ended up costing me 500 Euros about 700 dollars to get it replaced. Mad The problem is fixed though and it did pass inpsection. I do have a question about brake BIAS. Last years inspection the brakes were equally strong all around. This year the front brakes are putting down twice as much pressure as the rear. Could this have been the ABS module and when the dealer reprogramed it with the new one. I replaced all four rotors and pads 3 months ago.

I was always under the impression that the rears didn't put near as much out as the fronts. Seems like on vehicles I have had with drums in the back it is like a 3:1 or 4:1 replacement ration f/r.

if you look at your front and rear calipers the front are 2 piston and the rears are 1 if I recall correctly anyway

most of your stopping power is with the front brakes the rears just keep the back from passing the front
