Anyone with experience having a 2004 throttle body replaced under warranty? I have 59,500 miles and would like to know if anyone has or has not had this replacement covered under the warranty.
Thanks |

It stalls at stop lights after it is warmed up and off high idle. Also does not do it if the AC is on because idle is up. Had throttle body cleaned, but to no help. Plugs are good.

If you do take it in for warranty (are you still covered??), dont tell them you had it cleaned...your technically not supposed to clean them.
But I guess if cleaning didnt do any good, replacing it may be the next step. May want to replace the PCV valve, just to see if it makes a diff. first. Should be about $30 bucks ( I think I paid $26) at the stealership. Mine was severely gummed up at 55,000 miles on my '04,as was the TB. Are you throwing any DTCs?? Good Luck! |
