My 03 has a crack in the dashboard center running from the windshield back toward the radio. Why wouldn't this be covered under my 10 year or 100,000 mile bumper to bumper warrenty? It is between the bumpers and is not a routine maintenance item.

Does anyone have any background with this?

I would assume since I know of many older Dodge truck owners (the trucks are older, not the owners) who have had their dashboards cave in that this is may be a material issue.

But, I know what happens when you assume.

me i would definately push for warranty work... are you sure its not covered.. ?
Let me check the brochure that i have.. I was thinking about getting an extended warranty and it list everythihg that is covered for the 7yr/70K.
