If youve seen resent posts im going through a nightmare. Little catch up my dodge is using a lil over a qt every thousand miles. Took it to one dealership and did an oil consumption test with them. Came out to be 3 qts low just under 2 thousand miles. They said tough luck wow their never getting my money again. Anyways got it at another dealership now had to do another oil consumption test. For some reason dunno maybe the way I drove it or the crazy temps. we have in south texas, has left me only using about a half a qt in 1300 miles.....yeah got me. Anyways called chysler to complain bc it wasnt thier 1 qt 1000 mile policy. They said im S.O.L. until it goes over thier policy. Yeah so ive got 61000 miles on a 70000 mile warranty. Fighting mith chysler has been the worst expierence ever worse then an insurance company when my truck was stolen. Will see how this turns out ive gotten alot of knowledgable people that say it shouldnt use a drop specially with my mileage to bad chysler doesnt agree. Not really sure thier thought process behind this. I know money is in short supply for the company but a few hundred or a few grand for my repairs is losing less then a future customer buying a $30,000 vehicle. That combined with the nice lil article im gunna put in the Houston Chronicle if this turns out bad. I imagine with the cleaver wording YET truthful will probably cost them a few more customers. I guess thier some people just smarter then me making these decisions. Anyways I just had to vent, incredibly mad and just on the verge of saying screw chsyler. I love my dodge and even if it dosnet work out im going to get the motor rebuilt. Like I said before, however if it comes down to that, thatll be the only dodge sittin in the drive way in the future. Sorry so long winded, aggrevation and people not really givin a damn is really gettin to me.

Did it use oil before it was stolen??
