Has anyone installed shocks on the rear of their Ram and seen those stupid retainer tabs on the nuts on the top bolts? I spun mine off with my impact and twisted the crap out of them. Do I really need them? I put the nuts back on and pushed the twisted up tabs out of the way for now.......The bottom nuts don't use tabs.....

They're just there to help keep the bolt from spinning so you don't bust your knuckles holding two rackets on there.
