Just wondering if anyone has tried to drill and tap a hole,for a zerk fitting, on the upper ball joints?
My driver side is shot. It's starting to make popping noises, so it's a little too late to make a difference.Just wondering for future reference. 04' Quad Cab-SC,E-Fan,CAI=14.5     |

I am not even sure I know what the heck a zerk fitting is w/out seeing it....lol.

I think it would be possible if the inards would let the greese do any good. If there is some strange inside chamber that would not allow the greese to do any good. just my .02 oh and a greese zerk is what you hook your greese gun to to greese your drive shaft and other things like your tie rod ends and things.

Probably. It's just lame that the whole arm needs to be replaced.
