I bought my truck with a fabtech lift kit on it...I heard they dont make 4 inch lifts, but the truck really doesnt sit very high...SO...how can I tell? I'd like to replace the shocks but I dont know how to figure out what I need...

If you are going for custom length shocks, just grab a tape measure and measure one of your old shocks compressed and fully extended while the shock is off the truck.
If you can find a part number on the current shocks, you could use that to cross reference them against other shocks as well. Here is the link to the Fabtech page, I assumed you have a 4wd, but there are links to 2wd, if that is the case.Fabtech 02-05 lift info I have noticed that six inch lifts do not look very 'lifted' on these trucks, so you may have a six inch lift and it has settled over the last couple of years. One way to tell for sure would be to look at the components that come with the six inch lift kit and comapre them to what is on your truck. Or, worst case your lift was 'frankensteined' together with random lift parts. I hope this helps. Current mods: Exterior: 2003 RC short bed Ram.
