OK so i know there are subjects already on bottle location, but i havent heard of anybody putting the bottle in the cab. I dont really want to put the bottle in the bed cause i always use it. hauling stuff like the quad or other stuff and i dont really want to bother with always taking the bottle out if i am going to hall something. So i was just wondering if anybody had put the bottle in the cab like a quad cab cause thats what i have. I just want to know where people put the bottle at in the cab

For the dramatic look you could pull out your front center jumpseat and bolt it there on the floor/transmission hump. That way everybody would know what you're packing. Other than that, I can't really imagine anywhere else in my quad cab that would be practical. dunno

why not under the truck, on the inside of the frame rail. I really dont know where you would put it inside the cab either. Unless you got a couple or four small sneaky pete bottles, and mounted them under the front seats somehow. dunno

Could also do some custom mounts inside of the bed (in front of the wheel wells, in the dead space)

I believe it was SRT10KLLR that had a box kinda looks like it would hold a subwoofer or something but the front opens up with a couple bottles in it the box replaced the middle seat

just remember you have to vent it to the outside some how at most tracks anyway I think

i thought about takin mine and mounting it on my back seat, something like my buddy has in his T/A. just put the bottle facing forward in the middle portion of the back seat and you'd have to fabricate your own bracket to come up from the floor board for the front of the bottle, and the back would just sit tight against the rear upright. you would just loose the middle seat which is pretty small and most people dont wanna sit there anyway. the other two passangers could use it for an arm rest lol. also another benifit would be you wouldnt need a remote bottle opener you could just reach back and twist it open. just an idea. i'll take pics this weekend of my buddies car, yes itll be a little different in our trucks but itd give you a better idea of what i'm talkin bout.

Just FYI, NHRA has gone on the record on enforcing the rules for power adders (N2O)in 2009.

If you run a NHRA track the tech inspectors will check for:

Bottle mounting
Supply line routing and security
Blow down tube if the bottle is mounted inside
Driveshaft safety loop
Fire rated driving jacket
2000 Snell approved helmet or newer

Don't be surprised if your black flagged on your nitrous install.

Just to throw this in there, so nobody can say you were not atleast advised on the subject. I'm a professional firefighter and obviously run on many wrecks. About a year ago we ran a wreck where this guy in a mustang was rear-ended and he had a nitrous bottle mounted in the trunk (obviously a reasonable location). Well the bottle ruptured with a vengence and the concussion blew forward into the passenger area and several pieces of debris turned into shrapnel and hurt the guy pretty severely. With that said, many times we are the subject of someone elses stupidity. A wreck is a horrible and violent thing to happen. Something we dont always think about when doing mods to our vehicles that can compromise our own safety. So just keep in mind that you will be storing a high pressure bottle inside the cabin of what I assume is a daily driver in a world full of idiots. nos

A 15lb tank fits nicely under either rear seat. Just have a blow down tube and you're good to go. I have never had them find it at tech inspection. Likewise if you do the solenoids in a hidden place and hide the injection hoses inside insulated aluminum loom, it's like the tree that fell in the forest, nobody noticed . Pile picnic cooler and spare clothes in the back seat or have pit bull or mother in law sit back there. hehe.
