Hi Everyone.

My truck was delivered to my home on Friday.
4.56 installed. If any one out there is waiting and thinking about upgrading gears, don't, just do it. Man, what a difference! Nitrous coming the first or second week of March. Do it. Hemi Rules!

John

I was thinking of doing the 4.56 swap I have 3.92 now How does this compare to say headers or CAI is it a bigger improvement or less? Confused

I think 4:56 gears give a higher butt dyno reading than any other mod I have done so far. Go for it, you won't be dissappointed.

Bettsie, stay off the NO2 unless you beef up the internals. Valve spring issues to start with. goodluck1

hemi06ram, figure 350 and 350. Good ball park figure to start with.

You can get them from Duanne @ 3rd Strike. Expect to pay 3-400 for install. I believe they have to grind out the housing for clearance. There is a set on ebay for 50.00. Item # 110353924159. Slightly used.

Hey arocketman,

Bettsie, stay off the NO2 unless you beef up the internals. Valve spring issues to start with.

Thanks for the advice. Everything else I have read has said a 125 hp wet shot should not be a problem. Have you had a different experience? Not criticizing, just asking.

Thanks in advance,

John

Bettsie, I've not a personal experience with NO2. But I know where there is a box full of fractured Piston Parts. (Too much boost mostly(>5psi)and NO2 follies). Just looked at a Challenger that ran fine with 150 shot. Re-build underway due to Piston failures.

Just throwing out some observations.

125 shot maybe ok. Your truck is out of engine warranty I guess (if not it will be with NO2).

Mine is beyond warranty. Re-building soon and beefing up the internals.

Most important .....have fun with your project John. thumb2 thumb2 Nothing like a happy HEMI.
