I want to install nos on my truck i have read some threads about it and seen harleyc16s comment nos dont blow motors only stupid people i do not want to be one of those so which kit should i get truck is stock except bullydog programmer i would like to stay under a grand and be able to install myself and what would be something stupid that would blow motor

Quite a few of us here run the Zex truck system.
There are several write ups if you look back through the threads. Take the time to read them there is a lot of information. I think thats what i will try it seems reasonable priced to and one more question is it ok to mount bottle in cab like under middle front seat

It's fine to mount the bottle in the cab but for saftey's sake, make sure you bolt the bottle brackets through the floor and be sure to have a blow down tube installed.

would it be better to mount it in the bed i just thought in case of a wreck in the middle of the cab would be the best cause i have never seen the middle of the cab get wrecked but i have seen the beds tore up

I went with the bed mount on mine. No blow down tube required and this location makes changing the bottle pretty easy.

I know in some states it's illegal to drive on the street with a NOS bottle hooked up. So you may not have that problem if yer a law abiding individual.

so just to be clear with the zex kit do you have to have a fuel sorce along with the n2o running to the nozzel on the air intake or just the n2o and your injectors take care of the fuel
