I was just wandering if anyone on here was running anything bigger than a 150 shot on a relatively stock motor. By stock i mean the internals. Let me know what shot you guys are running and what mods you did to make it happen. Tia for your time.

I have read were a couple of people have ran 150 shots of nitrous safely with stock internals.

Here's what I believe you will need:
1. Superchips set to 87 tune so that it will pull some timing
2. NGK spark plugs, one heat range cooler than stock (NGK 4306)
3. 180 t-stat

That's all the precautions I have read before...
Hey where do you race? Kennedale?

I dont have nitrous on my truck and probably never will but I have run several different nitrous setups on mustangs..
If you are going to run more than a 125 shot I think I would spend the money and buy one of the thottle body plates. I would feel much safer running a larger shot with it than I would with a wing nozzle mounting infront of the thottle body.
This is just my opinion but I as I said I have run different kits in diffent ways.. wing nozzle, tb plate, two stage plate between upper and lower intake. all different sizes some with blower.

im not running nos on my ram but ive had a lot of experience with it on 5.0 stangs.the important thing is to remove and read your plugs often ,make sure your not detenating.the biggest problem i had with 5.0 s was head gaskets blowing.never had any internal parts breakage, but early 5.0 stangs had forged pistons, hemis dont.be carefull.
