I can only speak for myself but am sure that others would like a some primary nitros lessons.

What goes where? What hooks to what? Etc.
Thanks GDN1

you can tap into the test port on your passenger side fuel rail for a fuel supply (the core screws out with a valve core remover, same as you'd use for the air valve on your tire). as far as the rest of it...there are kits like the zex that are incredibly easy to hook up, like three wires, or kits where you wire up your own solenoids, switches, etc and they are a bit more time consuming.

my NX kit was not prewired at all, i did all the wiring for everything from scratch...pain in the ass and took a lot of time to get everything wired in, but there is also a lot to my nitrous system.

a couple things you HAVE TO get:

Bottle heater - the only way to constantly maintain +/- 1000psi (i let mine get up to 1150psi before i use it, and no i don't run lean because i'm jetted properly for that pressure) - when you use a system with a bottle heater, especially on the street, you will understand why you need a heater.

Purge - looks cool and gets the liquid nitrous to your solenoid rather than having a couple second bog when you use the system because the motor gets the fuel right away but the liquid nitrous has to make its way through 14 or 16 feet of line.

Electric bottle opener - get one, unless you don't mind running around to the back of your truck to open the bottle by hand when you're stopped at a red light and you want to smoke the punk beside you.

Pressure gauge mounted inside the cab - a must have. there is a huge difference in performance between say 750psi and 1100psi. if you know what the pressure in your bottle is, you'll know when it's good to go. this is also when a bottle heater comes in handy. a full bottle of nitrous can sit at 700psi or it can sit at 1000+, just depends on temperature.

i have more to share but i'm working night shift and i need sleep pretty bad. as for your original question..it just depends on the kit you get and the options you choose. all in all it isn't too hard to do.
