Each letter and number of the "R A M 1 5 0 0" are seperate, and we need to remove them from the door to sand it. When we get it all done, whats the best method to keep them stuck on the door?

I wouldn't put them back on!! I doubt that the old one will be easy to make stay. Check with your dealership or call Art at Henson Motors, Parts (800-530-5337) and get a new set.

Why are you having to sand the door?

I'm actually a pretty big fan of the badges. Gotta love the tramp-stamp.

It will be diffecult to align as well as space that many letters/numbers. I agree with Rancher, contact Art. The new set can be put on in less than a minute. Plus you get a HTC discount. Good luck! thumb2

I had though about rebadging the truck with decals instead of emblems, and getting them very close to the stock color so that its barely seen.

GIVEN AWAY MY IDEAS HERE.

Badges just use 3M double-sided as stated above. Are you repainting the door? Just thinking it will be a huge pain cutting the tape to fit and re-aligning everything to look decent. goodluck1

Yea the accident that totalled the truck did front wheel damage to the truck. I think a mirror or something hit the door, its just kind've rumpled up and needs the dents pulled out and alittle paint. (maybe alittle bondo for leveling)

I have pictures of the truck, but not the camera they're on atm.

Use card board or paper to make a templet before you remove and line the templet up on the bottom edge of the door. goodluck1

Spend the extra few bucks and et new ones. The old ones will never stay on and getting them alinged to look right is next to impossible. It can be done but man what a chore. The new ones go on super easy.

I took mine off to black them out and replaced them with no problems. Short of buying a new set all you have to do is get measurements like how far up,from the door edge and the spacing between the letters. When you put them back on start with one of the "squared letters like the M, get it the right higth then take a level put it under the letter to get it level and draw a line with a pencil(that will wipe right off) and just space then out correctly and your done. I put mine back on with 3M tape. I did one side in a little more than 10 mins.
