Man, got the new truck today and taking off these gay pinstripes. PITA I tell ya. Got the front two fenders off easy. Think it will be easier tomorrow in the sun. I think the front fenders were easier because they were warm from driving it. The other stripes kept tearing. I pulled one off real quick in the daytime just messing around, so it must have been the sunlight. No need to stress in the dark cold. I will wait.

Got it done today. Did 80% of it while waiting on the guy to get to tinting my windows. Went to a few places to look into one of the remover wheels for the 3m tape under the badges and couldn't find one. I was talking to one of the guys at Lowe's, and he threw the idea of WD-40 out there. Said he used it on his vent visor tape to get it off when he removed them and it worked great. Sssoooooooo......since I couldn't find the 3M wheel, WD40 it was. And he was right. That does work well. Took all the pinstripe glue off in like one swipe. The badge tape was a different story, but I would soak it with WD and then use a plastic razor to scrape at it. Just kept doing that alternating sides, and it came off layer by layer. Worked well. After I could not get any more off with a plastic razor, I just scrubbed with a rag. I still have a little bit to do on the driver side, but it worked.

I will. Still have a little bit of the Ram 1500 to get off the driver door, and of course a good washing. Might do that tonight. Kinda funny. I got blue to be different this time since I had the Graphite metallic the last time. Neighbor boy was like "I liked your gray one better." A buddy of mine told him I hadn't done anything to this one yet to make it look like my last one. So now that I have, his tune has changed. He came over yesterday and was like, "Man, that looks 1000x better than when you first got it." lol....young and dumb.
