This is just a rough drawing but it is supposed to be 3" sq tubing for the main tube turned to make a diamond and 1" sq tubing alson turned to make diamond. Let me know what you think of it and any input.

i dont think a point on the end would work with the lines of the truck...Id go with a flat cap.

Also, mounting them at the turned angle will need some beefy brackets, what are you planning on?

Yeah i was thinking the flat cap would look the best also. I am going to fab some custom mounting brackets out of 3"x 3/8" flat stock and gusetts on the all the coners.
