All-
Does anyone happen to have pics of the mounts for their Westing round nerf bars? The "flexing" is really starting to aggravate me. I am beginning to think that the rubber grommet was supposed to have been removed prior to installing these things. Too bad there were no directions when I got them. Any help is appreciated. When I step on them they move probably two inches. i just put some on my 08.they dont mount quite the same way.but they flex quite a bit when i step on them. i think thats normal.
2008 electric blue hemi quad cab lone star edition, Performance mods; pacesetter mids,custom dual exhaust, flowmaster 40s,magnaflow cats, k&n CAI, comp 260 cam,mildly ported heads,6.1 springs,6.1 pushrods,diablo preditor,custom tuned by inertia, power wire, powerdyne tb spacer, jet 180 therm, jetstream air scoop, egr restriction plate, zex n20,ngk 4506 plugs,and 4.56 posi. Dress up mods; westin nerf bars, undercover tonue,swing out tool box,and chrome mtto wheels.     |

Thanks guys. I figured out the issue. I bought these from a guy I know. He said he had them on his truck with just the four bolts to the body. Never mentioned anything about the "tie" brackets to the truck body. I showed him the pics, and he swears those were never on his truck. I am trying to get the brackets now from Westin, but they want HUGE money for the kit. I think I may try making them myself.

Home Depot and Lowes both sale metal strips with various holes already in them and they are various thinkness too. I bought them to fix my awning after a good wind. Then a couple good big self taping metal screws.

mine dont flex at all and i weigh 250lb, its dark outside or id get you a pic they are the platinum series thou.
