Well....

I ordered my Kicker KS 5.25 and 6.5 components tonight. Getting them in this week. Probably be out of town when they come in though. Unfortunately. Spend next weekend wiring some of it. Already sold and shipped my RBQ 6 disc as of today. But will have a Alpine 9885, Kicker KS 5.25 and KS 6.5 component as of next week. Soon to be a Kicker 550.3 and 12" CVR with amped fronts. Should be wicked sick sound then. I will keep you updated........

SWEET!! WOn't be long and you'll be rockin!

I called supercrewsound about the center console sub box for my truck. They closest they can get is black to match my interior. No dice, so I think I'm going to stick with the dual 10's in a foxbox. Should hit harder anyway. I hate to lose the fold flat floor, though. Frowner

Yeah, I LOVE the storage back there. Can't do it. I keep a bunch of tow straps, jumper cables, etc back there. Oh, and a big spot light that plugs into the lighter. I could probably get by with a single passenger side or something, but my daughter would wonder why the heck her butt was vibrating all the time. Might be funny to watch....lol.

I got the Eclipse CD5030 all wired in and installed. The HU looks and sounds great. I spoke to Eclipse about the steering wheel controls. While it's built in, it's only for Toyota and Honda. So, I have to get a PAC box to use them. Not too bad, but another $50.

I think I'm going to build my own center console box. I think I can build it cheap enough and pay someone to wrap it with matching wrap still cheaper than what I can get the supercrew box for.

That's cool. I am going to get the steering wheel remote at some point. Might wait til you do and see if it works worth a crap....lol. Wink

You know....I think I need to kick your ass next time I see you (when I pick up all those Klipsch speakers, maybe). I have like 20 things going on right now with selling, shipping, and wiring between the truck and the house, I can't quit thinking about how or what to do when and where.......See what I mean? AND IT IS ALL YOUR FAULT!!!!!! Not to mention when I finally get all that caught up I can then go buy my new steering rack to put in! Woohooo! I would buy it when I get all this stuff sold, but I don't even want to think about having something else to get done until I have nothing to get done..... Cool

Oh, nevermind, I saw your other post about your rack leaking. Bummer. Should be pretty easy and not too terribly expensive. Sorry to hear, though.

Yeah, $200 after core return. And it is just 2 power steering lines, the tie rod ends, and 2 mounting bolts, then reinstall. Hope it is pretty straight forward.....we'll see. I should be able to get with you in the next week or 2 at most for the Klipsch. I will keep you posted.

yeah, shouldn't be too bad. My buddy runs a auto repair shop and tells me racks aren't any big deal..most of the time.

Sounds good on the speakers. They are just sitting there out of the way, so not any urgency to get them out. I moved them out of the garage to avoid anything that could happen there. They are just waitin on ya. I've been lazy. I have the replacement woofers for the center, I just haven't put them in.
